Cranchi Trawler 53 Long Distance is a modern interpretation of a classic trawler. Its strong points are its versatility and the amount of room available, and the low fuel consumption. She created to travel really large distances, without using a lot of fuel, and they make the trip – or just sailing – pleasant. Even the route from stern to bow is very comfortable, thanks to the gangways that are 40-cm wide and well protected. It’s the same story on the flybridge, which stretches right out to the stern (while leaving space for the tender) as well as two enormous sun areas, kitchen, dinette and obviously a steering area with good visibility to the bow – but which is a bit limited aft. The side hold door which opens onto the port-side gangway is very useful and helps on-board movement. The forward-most area is also nice; it is a couple of steps up, with the dining area to the left and steering area to the right, with good views out.
