The luxurious VanDutch 55 is a landmark model in the company’s legacy. Its distinctive profile is reminiscent of the original VanDutch 40, including the unmistakable vertical bow and minimalistic deck lines, but with enhanced volume and interior capacity from its (55-feet) length.  Naval architecture from Frank Mulder ensures the VanDutch 55 stakes its claim as one of the best performing, most cutting-edge motor boats in its size range. • Per USCG regulations, maximum 12 passengers. NO exceptions!
• Half-day charter is 4 hours.
• Full-day charter is 8 hours.
• All boats come with captain and insurance is included.
• Pick-up time is up to you and the charter begins at the time stated in the signed Charter Agreement.
• For day charters fuel is included for idle/trolling speed around local areas. For high speed cruising fuel is charged extra.
• 100% drug free/smoke free boat; some boats may allow cigarette smoking in designated areas at the captain's discretion.
• We love animals and would feel terrible if they get seasick, so as a general rule, no pets allowed.
• You must be 21 years or older to book.
• Photo ID and credit card required at pickup. If you are foreign you must travel with your passport.
• For multi-day charters, a standard 30% APA is collected to cover expenses during your charter including fuel, docking fees, food & beverage. 
• Gratuity (18%) is collected at time of payment on all day charters; additional gratuity can be given in cash at the end of a day charter. 
• No gratuity is collected for term (overnight) charters and must be paid at the end of charter in cash or on the credit card on file. Industry Standard is 15-20%.  
• APA funds: if there is any money left over after your charter, you can apply remaining funds towards crew gratuity or funds can be returned to you.

It sits along a part of the Potomac River and is defined by its imposing neoclassical monuments and buildings – such as the Capitol, White House and Supreme Court. 

Washington is also home to iconic museums and performing venues such as the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Board your yacht at Washington Harbour to begin your cruise through this scenic city. Located on the banks of the Potomac River, you will surely cruise by this Washington icon as you explore the river. This building is one of the largest and most prominent in the nation's capital. As you continue sailing, you will cruise by the beautiful Georgetown University with a Gothic and Georgian brick architecture campus; the view from the river is simply picture perfect.

Washington DC may be considered one of the most scenic cities in the nation and many of the best views of the city are seen as you cruise the Potomac River. Make your way around the Little Island and begin sailing down the river, under the Arlington Memorial Bridge, and past the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. These are two of the most iconic national landmarks in the nation's capital and the view from the river is arguably one of the best in the city.

Continuing your cruise making your way to the Capital Yacht Club, you will pass by other landmarks such as The White House, The Pentagon, and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. As you dock at the Yacht Club, disembark and spend the evening at this private club sipping champagne and admiring the stunning view of the White House as the day fades and her lights shine brighter.
